The Magic of Playing Every Day

My name is Arham, and I love playing sports more than anything in the world! Whenever I go to the playground, I feel excited even before I start playing. The moment my shoes touch the ground, I feel like today is going to be the best day ever. Sports make me feel alive, strong, and super happy.

My favourite sport is football. I love kicking the ball as hard as I can and running fast across the field. When I score a goal, it feels like fireworks are dancing in my stomach. I also enjoy cricket, especially batting. Every time the bat hits the ball with a loud “thak!”, I feel like a hero from a movie. Sometimes I even play badminton with my friends, and we try to hit the shuttle as high as possible.

Sports teach me so many things that books cannot. When I play in a team, I learn how to share, how to listen, and how to help others. Sometimes our team wins and sometimes we lose, but my coach always says, “Arham, what matters is that you tried your best.” That makes me want to try even harder next time. Sports teach me to be brave, confident, and never give up Every evening, after I finish my homework, my grandfather takes me to
the park. He walks slowly with his stick while I run ahead with my football. Dada says he used to play hockey when he was young, and he smiles proudly when he watches me play. He tells me stories of the matches he played, and I try to imagine him running fast like I do now. Playing with him watching makes me feel special.

Sports help me sleep better, think better, and feel fresh the next morning. They make me strong, healthy, and full of energy. That’s why I believe every child should play a sport they love because sports don’t just make our bodies better, they make our hearts happier too.

THE FADING SHADOW

(The Elusive Dance of Light and Life) There is a profound contradiction at the heart of every shadow that has ever stretched across the earth. A shadow, by its very nature, proves the existence of light. It is the silhouette cast by illumination, and is the darkness that cannot exist without brilliance. Yet, the moment light becomes too direct or too absolute, the shadow begins to fade. This is the

A Clock Set by the Divine

If I were asked to explain deen in simple words, I would say this: for me, deen means living a disciplined life. Islam is a complete system of guidance that teaches us how to live in an organized, balanced, and purposeful way— both at a personal level and as a society. A true momin is disciplined and intentional. He does not live his life aimlessly or in vain. When I

One Winter, One Book, A Thousand Lives

A cold winter evening. A warm, cozy corner. A bookshelf full of books that had already taken her on adventures far better than anything this world had to offer. She sat there knowing it was the perfect time to read and yet she had already flipped through these beloved pages countless times before. Then her eyes caught on something. A book. Unread. Happiness drifted toward her slowly, almost cautiously. It
